Ohio Ranks #7 in U.S. for Shipping Beer

Buckeyes certainly love their brew: The state of Ohio was ranked #7 in the nation for beer shipments in 2011 with 8.3 million shipments of 31-gallon barrels. Buckeyes ranked #21 in per capita consumption with 30.6 gallons purchased per legal-aged resident.

The largest brewery in Ohio is located in Butler County at the Molson Coors Brewing Company with 111 acres and 600 workers in Trenton.
