Michele Stacy, Vice President of Human Resources for Sibcy Cline Realtors, was recognized by the Cincinnati Housing Opportunities Made Equal (HOME) organization with its Founders Award on September 27, 2013. The honor is bestowed to an individual who has worked to eliminate unlawful discrimination in housing and to promote integrated communities.
Michele has served as a HOME Board of Directors member for the past 25 years. She has also been the Fair Housing Officer for Sibcy Cline Realtors for the same number of years with an active role in promoting fair housing within the company as well as the local and state boards of Realtors. She introduced cultural sensitivity into real estate agents’ continuing education programs, which led to an industry-wide focus on strong enforcement of fair housing laws throughout the region.
HOME was established in 1968 to eliminate unlawful discrimination in housing. The organization enforces housing regulations for all protected classes.
