Northern Kentucky Has Highest Home Sales and Volume in Six Years in 2013

2013 Northern Kentucky home sales were the highest in six years and showed a 16.55% increase from 2012 with 842 more homes sold for the year with a total of 5,802 unit sales.

Sales volume for Northern Kentucky increased 23.52% from 2012. And, in 2013, home sold faster with an average of 84 days on the market (as compared to 95 average days in 2012.)

December 2013 versus December 2012 

  • 2.70% increase in Units Sold (381 versus 371)
  • 1.86% increase in Average Sale Price ($149,330 versus $146,599)
  • -4.17% decrease in Median Sale Price ($126,500 versus $132,000)
  • 4.61% increase in Sales Volume
  • 23.75% increase in Days on Market Average (80 days versus 99)

January – December 2013 versus January- December 2012

  • 16.55% increase in Units Sold (5,802 versus 4,978)
  • 5.98% increase in Average Sale Price ($154,152 versus $1445,454)
  • 5.91% increase in Median Sale Price ($134,500 versus $127,000)
  • 23.52% increase in Sales Volume
  • 13.09% increase in Days on Market Average (84 days versus 95)
