Taste of Cincinnati – Nation’s Longest Running Culinary Arts Festival

TasteCincinnati

Get your appetites ready because the annual Taste of Cincinnati is May 24-26, 2014 during Memorial Day Weekend. This festival is the nation’s longest running culinary arts festival with 35 years of offering mouth-watering bites from area restaurants and food trucks.

The festival has expanded
Forty restaurants are participating – and nine of them are new to the Taste. People can enjoy the Taste Experience with offerings from high-end restaurants in the P&G Garden. There will be at least nine food trucks along the Food Truck Alley. All-in-all, you can enjoy over 250 different foods. This blogger hopes they have the deep-fried peanut butter and jelly sandwich again!

The festival is located along Fifth Street and runs for six blocks. The event opens at 11:00 am daily – a new time.

Here is a YouTube video of the Taste of Cincinnati from 2013:

Blogger’s Note: I remembering working at a Taste of Cincinnati in 1983 serving Chocolate Amaretto Cheesecake, Lemon Souffle and a Seafood Bisque for Tanglewood’s Restaurant. The venue was in Garfield Park at the time.
