Cincinnati Ranks #7 on ‘Greenest Cities in America’ List

It’s not easy being green… except for Cincinnati. The city of Cincinnati was just ranked #7 on the ‘Greenest Cities in America’ list. The list analyzed variables such as air quality index,  parks per 10,000 residents, and green transportation (percentage of residents who work from home, walk, bike, carpool or take public transit to work).

Cincinnati’s top-10 rating is well-deserved considering the city’s commitment to 100% renewable electricity, its 10.9 parks per 10,000 residents (one of the highest rates in the nation) and it’s plan for a bike share program that hopes to launch this summer.

Way to go Cincinnati for being one of the greenest and greatest places to live!
