Southeastern Indiana has 11 Percent Increase in Sales Price for August 2014

Indiana_SignAlthough the sales of homes was down 2%, the average sale price for homes increased 11.7% in Southeastern Indian in August.

August 2014 vs August 2013

  • 11.% Increase in average sale price ($143,821 vs $128,736)
  • 5.5% Increase in median sale price ($140,000 vs $132,750)
  • -2% Decrease in sales units (96 homes vs 98 homes)
  • 9.4% Increase in gross sales volume

January – August 2014 vs January – August 2013

  • 2.5% Increase in median sale price ($128,000 vs $125,000)
  • 8.1% Increase in gross sales volume

Sibcy Cline’s Indiana Home Sales

  • $170,00 median sale price January – August 2014 ($41,900 higher than the board average)
  • $191,500 median sale price August 2014 ($51,500 higher than the board average)
  • $171,350 average sale price August 2014 ($27,529 higher than the board average)
