September Sales Volume for Homes in Dayton Increase Almost 6 Percent

Sales volume for homes in Dayton reached $157 million which was nearly a 6% increase from September 2013. The average sale price of homes increased above 9%.

September 2014 vs September 2013

  • -3.10% Decrease in sale units (1,155 vs 1,192)
  • 5.92% Increase in sales volume ($157,130,438 vs $148,349,729)
  • .10% Increase in % sale/list price (96.26% vs 96.16%)
  • 9.91% Increase in median sale price ($117,000 vs $106,450)
  • 9.31% Increase in average sale price ($136,044 vs $124,454)

The year-to-date average sale price and median sale price posted respectable gains as well. The average price totaled $133,745 while the median price came in at $115,000, each gains of five percent.
