Forbes Magazine
rated the world’s most valuable brands and several Cincinnati-based businesses made it to their list for 2014:

  • General Electric was #7 on the list with a brand value of $37.1 billion. GE is based in Evendale with plans for an operations center coming to the Banks.
  • Toyota (with engineering and manufacturing in Erlanger for the next three years) ranked #9 with a brand value of $31.3 billion.
  • Procter & Gamble‘s Gillette was ranked #27 with a revenue of $19.1 billion. That is a lot of disposable razors.
  • Pamper’s (another Procter & Gamble brand) ranked #40 with a revenue of $10.3 billion. P&G is located in downtown Cincinnati.

What brand topped the list? Apple. See the top 100 list here.
