Livability.com posted its list of the Top 10 Affordable Places To Live in the U.S., and Dayton, Ohio ranked near the top at number two. Factors for the rankings included cost of living for health care, food, housing and transportation as well as state taxes.

- Median home value of $69.600 is 33% below the national average
- Groceries and health care costs are less than most other cities
- Lots to do in the city from sports to cultural events to museums
