  • $91,500 = average engineer’s salary
  • $733 = median gross rent

What area ranked at the top? Huntsville, Alabama (where NASA is located!)

  1. Mechanical Engineer from Dayton here, respectfully disagreeing because I’m a statistical outlier compared to that data set. Not to say that its a bad place to live, we do have some unique attractions for engineers like Mendelson’s Outlet and Proto Build Bar.
