FC Cincinnati is the region’s newest sports team and excitement is building up for the first home game. “Futbol Club” Cincinnati is part of the United Soccer League (USL) and will play its first home game on April 9, 2016 at University of Cincinnati’s Nippert Stadium.
The Team
The team is lead by coach John Harkes who previously was an assistant coach for the New York Red Bulls. Harkes was the first American to play in the English Premier League and is a member of the National Soccer Hall of Fame.
Only two players (Luke Spencer and Austin Berry) call Cincinnati home. A majority of the players are from various parts of the the U.S. The team is international with players coming from Australia, England, Spain, Panama, Jamaica and France.
Stadium
The stadium offers limited seating for a more intimate experience. Individual and season tickets are currently available.
Community Outreach
The team is focused on the local community by reaching out to Cincinnati’s youth soccer players. When soccer parents purchase FC Cincinnati tickets, a portion of the proceeds will go back to the youth soccer organizations. Read more about that here.

We say to the team: Good luck and kick it!
