Southeastern Indiana had a 7.6% increase in home sales for March as compared to March 2015. Here are the statistics:

March 2016 vs March 2015

• 7.6% Increase in home unit sales (85 homes vs 79 homes)
• 7.7% Increase in average sale price ($149,962 vs $139,237)
• 27% Increase in median sale price ($146,000 vs $115,000)
• 15.9% Increase in sales volume

January – March 2016 vs January – March 2015

• -.5% Decrease in home unit sales (193 homes vs 194 homes)
• 11.% Increase in average sale price ($142,015 vs $126,858)
• 15.9% Increase in median sale price ($131,000 vs $113,000)
• 5.6% Increase in sales volume

Many homes are selling quickly if priced correctly and in good condition.
