Southeastern Indiana has Sixteen Percent Increase in Home Sales in May

Southeastern Indiana homes are selling! The region had a 15.9% increase in home sales for May (as compared to May 2015.)

May 2016 vs May 2015

  • 15.9% Increase in homes sold (124 homes vs 107 homes)
  • 7.7% Increase in sales volume
  • -7.1% Decrease in average sale price ($155,150 vs $166,932)
  • -7.1%  Decrease in median sale price ($139,347 vs $150,000)

January – May 2016 vs January – May 2015

  • 4.4% Increase in homes sold (429 homes vs 411 homes)
  • 7.5% Increase in sales volume
  • 3.0% Increase in average sale price ($144,895 vs $140,730)
  • 6.3%  Increase in median sale price ($135,000 vs $127,000)
