Northern Kentucky Home Sales Increased Eleven Percent in September!

purplebridge_1Home sales were brisk in Northern Kentucky in September with a 11.11% increase in sales as compared to September 2015. Year-to-date, home sales have risen 9.08% the region.

September 2016 vs September 2015

  • 11.11% Increase in home sales (630 homes vs 567 homes)
  • 4.56% Increase in average sale price ($172,976 vs $165,425)
  • 4.96% Increase in median sale price ($146,950 vs $140,000)
  • 16.18% Increase in sales volume

January – September 2016 vs January – September 2015

  • 9.08% Increase in home sales (5,251 homes vs 4,814 homes)
  • 7.10% Increase in average sale price ($175,387 vs $163,767)
  • 5.96% Increase in median sale price ($151,000 vs $142,500)
  • 16.82% Increase in sales volume

Mortgage rates remain low and the inventory of homes for sale is low. Many homes priced correctly and in move-in condition are selling quickly.
