Southeastern Indiana has almost Seventeen Percent Increase in Average Sale Price in October 2016

housebubblegraphIn Southeastern Indiana, the average sale price of homes increased 16.8% in October (as compared to October 2015). Here are the statistics for this region:

October 2016 vs October 2015

  • 16.8% Increase in average sale price ($173,002 vs $148,055)
  • 5.5% Increase in median sale price ($142,400 vs $135,000)
  • -21.5% Decrease in homes sold (95 homes vs 121 homes)
  • -8.3% Decrease in sales volume

January – October 2016 vs January – October 2015

  • 4.9% Increase in average sale price ($152,495 vs $145,331)
  • 6.9% Increase in median sale price ($139,000 vs $130,000)
  • -2.9% Decrease in homes sold (977 homes vs 1,006 homes)
  • 1.9% Increase in sales volume
