Partnering with Fifth Third Bank, Sibcy Cline is working now on eliminating the creation of paper checks and is converting to an electronic-transaction system. This is not only a “green” thing to do, but lessens the risk of fraud and speeds up payment. Says Lisa Lakeman, CFO for Sibcy Cline, “This new system will save us time and money in the processing and mailing costs associated with paying bills by paper check.” The new system is slated to be in place in October 2018.
