Most of the region saw an increase in average sale price during January. The Dayton area had an increase in the number of homes sold as well as sales volume. Mortgage interest rates remain low. Average price and median sale price increased as compared to January 2018.

In Dayton, there was an increase in the number of homes sold as well as sales volume.

• 5.13% Increase in homes sold (882 homes vs 839 homes)
• -.039% Decrease in average sale price ($145,146 vs $145,720)
• -1.12% Decrease in median sale price ($122,111 vs $123,500)

The average sales price rose by over 10% as compared to January 2018.
