Cincinnati / Southeastern Indiana

The average price of homes continue to increase.

July 2019 vs July 2018

  • -1.53% Decrease in homes sold (2,518 homes vs 2,557 homes)
  • 7.41% Increase in average sale price ($240,974 vs $224,342)
  • 7.75% Increase in median sale price ($193,950 vs $180,000)
  • 5.78% Increase in gross sales volume ($606,771,447 vs $573,641,436)

January–July 2019 vs January–July 2018

  • -1.36% Decrease in homes sold (14,965 homes vs 15,171 homes)
  • 5.16% Increase in average sale price ($226,398 vs $215,294)
  • 5.49% Increase in median sale price ($184,500 vs $175,900)
  • 3.74% Increase in gross sales volume ($3,388,041,661 vs $3,266,226,979)

Dayton

In July, the Dayton area saw gains in the number of homes sold as well as average/median sale price.

July 2019 vs July 2018

  • 3.47% Increase in homes sold (1,668 homes vs 1,612 homes)
  • 10.06% Increase in average sale price ($188,950 vs $171,683)
  • 12.24% Increase in median sale price ($165,000 vs $147,000)
  • 13.88% Increase in sales volume ($315,168,484 vs $276,752,628)

January–July 2019 vs January–July 2018

  • .32% Increase in homes sold (9,474 homes vs 9,444 homes)
  • 6.66% Increase in average sale price ($176,260 vs $165,253)
  • 7.12% Increase in median sale price ($150,500 vs $140,500)
  • 7.0% Increase in sales volume ($1,669,882,543 vs $1,560,648,125)

Northern Kentucky

Average home price increased by over six percent in July.

  • 1.51% Increase in homes sold (738 homes vs 727 homes)
  • 6.35% Increase in average sale price ($211,484 vs $198,853)
  • 9.44% Increase in median sale price ($184,950 vs $169,000)
  • 7.96% Increase in sales volume ($156,075,459 vs $144,566,749)

January–July 2019 vs January–July 2018

  • -3.41% Decrease in homes sold (4,101 homes vs 4,246 homes)
  • 4.27% Increase in average sale price ($202,750 vs $194,443)
  • 5.11% Increase in median sale price ($175,000 vs $166,500)
