Cincinnati / Southeastern Indiana

Home sales had a huge uptick for December for Cincinnati and Southeastern Indiana.

December 2019 vs December 2018

  • 11.44% Increase in homes sold (1,861 homes vs 1,670 homes)
  • 8.78% Increase in average sale price ($227,948 vs $209,545)
  • 10.40% Increase in median sale price ($181,000 vs $163,950)
  • 21.22% Increase in gross sales volume ($424,211,260 vs $349,939,755)

January–December 2019 vs January–December 2018

  • .43% Increase in homes sold (25,751 homes vs 25,641 homes)
  • 5.64% Increase in average sale price ($226,143 vs $214,065)
  • 6.36% Increase in median sale price ($184,000 vs $173,000)
  • 6.10% Increase in gross sales volume ($5,823,396,579 vs $5,488,849,495)

Dayton

In December, the Dayton area saw large gain in home sales as well as average and median sale prices.

December 2019 vs December 2018

  • 25.46% Increase in homes sold (1,291 homes vs 1,029 homes)
  • 4.81% Increase in average sale price ($173,816 vs $165,838)
  • 3.14% Increase in median sale price ($144,400 vs $140,000)
  • 31.50% Increase in sales volume ($224,396,006 vs $170,647,178)

January–December 2019 vs January–December 2018

  • 2.21% Increase in homes sold (16,625 homes vs 16,266 homes)
  • 6.95% Increase in average sale price ($177,087 vs $165,586)
  • 7.04% Increase in median sale price ($152,000 vs $142,000)
  • 9.31% Increase in sales volume ($2,944,065,136 vs $2,693,417,846)

Northern Kentucky

Home sales increased in December as well as average and median sale price.

December 2019 vs December 2018

  • 4.21% Increase in homes sold (544 homes vs 522 homes)
  • 13.36% Increase in average sale price ($214,077 vs $188,853)
  • 17.28% Increase in median sale price ($190,000 vs $162,000)
  • 18.13% Increase in sales volume ($116,458,353 vs $98,581,607)

  • -.99% Decrease in homes sold (7,266 homes vs 7,339 homes)
  • 7.12% Increase in average sale price ($207,568 vs $193,763)
  • 7.19% Increase in median sale price ($179,000 vs $167,000)
  • 6.06% Increase in sales volume ($1,508,194,485 vs $1,422,029,073)
