Here is a report by region of homes sales throughout January 2020:

CINCINNATI / SOUTHEASTERN INDIANA

Home sales started the year strong for Cincinnati and Southeastern Indiana.

January 2020 vs January 2019

  • 8.03% Increase in homes sold (1,346 homes vs 1,246 homes)
  • 8.79% Increase in average sale price ($219,497 vs $201,760)
  • 10.31% Increase in median sale price ($176,500 vs $160,000)
  • 17.52% Increase in gross sales volume ($295,442,403 vs $251,392,441)

DAYTON

In January, the Dayton area saw a gain in home sales as well as average and median sale prices.

January 2020 vs January 2019

  • 5.22% Increase in homes sold (1,363 homes vs 1,238 homes)
  • 16.96% Increase in average sale price ($169,769 vs $145,146)
  • 16.90% Increase in median sale price ($142,750 vs $122,111)
  • 23.06% Increase in sales volume ($157,545,696 vs $128,018,659)

NORTHERN KENTUCKY

Home sales increased in January as well as average and median sale prices.

January 2020 vs January 2019

  • 11.02% Increase in homes sold (403 homes vs 363 homes)
  • 6.69% Increase in average sale price ($205,973 vs $193,053)
  • 10.90% Increase in median sale price ($178,000 vs $160,500)
  • 18.45% Increase in sales volume ($83,007,389 vs $70,078,485)
