November local home sales report

November had increases in sale prices across the region. Mortgage rates remain low. Home values are still high. With a low inventory of homes for sales, it’s a great time to list your home to sale and then purchase that dream home.

Here is a report by region of homes sales throughout November 2021:

CINCINNATI OHIO / SOUTHEASTERN INDIANA

November 2021 vs November 2020

  • -1.7% Decrease in homes sold (2,155 homes)
  • 11.6% Increase in median sale price ($240,000)
  • 10.3% Increase in sales volume ($609,289,746)
  • -71.7% Decrease in active homes for sale (2,155 units)
  • 3.1% Increase in new listings (2,135 units)

January–November 2021 vs January–November 2020

  • 3.4% Increase in homes sold (25,257 homes vs 24,429 homes)
  • 14.1% Increase in median sale price ($235,000 vs $206,000)
  • 17.0% Increase in sales volume ($7,111,569,923 vs $6,034,274,619)

DAYTON AND SPRINGFIELD OHIO

November 2021 vs November 2020

  • 5.05% Increase in homes sold (1,476 units vs 1,405 units)
  • 12.9% Increase in average sale price ($224,639 vs $198,977)
  • 8.57% Increase in median sale price ($190,000 vs $175,000)
  • 18.60% Increase in gross sales volume ($331,567,138 vs $279,562,150)
  • 1.29% Increase in new listing units (1,333 vs 1,316)

  • 2.14% Increase in unit homes sold (16,125 vs 15,787)
  • 11.55% Increase in average sale price ($219,363 vs $196,644)
  • 8.89% Increase in median sale price ($185,000 vs $169,900)
  • 13.49% Increase in gross sales volume ($3,537,222,288 vs $3,104,416,420)
  • 1.59% Increase in new listings (18,679 vs 18,386)
