April 2019 Home Sales Report for Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio; Northern Kentucky; and Southeastern Indiana

花火8April home sales were strong once again for the region. Sales exceeded 2018 figures in Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio and remained the same for Southeastern Indiana. Mortgage interest rates remain low. With home values still on the rise and a low inventory of homes for sale, it is a great time to sell your home. Cincinnati
Sales increased in April by 6.5% as compared to April 2018.

  • 6.52% Increase in homes sold (2,370 homes vs 2,225 homes)
  • 2.96% Increase in average sale price ($222,036 vs $215,653)
  • .4.86% Increase in median sale price ($183,500 vs $175,000)
  • 9.67% Increase in gross sales volume ($526,225,131 vs $479,826,911)

January–April 2019 vs January–April 2018

  • -1.44% Decrease in homes sold (7,067 homes vs 7,170 homes)
  • 4.22% Increase in average sale price ($212,091 vs $203,498)
  • 5.96% Increase in median sale price ($174,720 vs $164,900)

Dayton
In Dayton, home sales increased by almost three percent. Average sale price increased by nine percent.

Homes are selling quickly in Northern Kentucky with an average of 43 days from listing date to closing.

The Southeastern Indiana region had increases in average sale price (7.5%) and median sale price (3.3%) as compared to April 2018. Home sales remained the same as in April 2018.
