Southeastern Indiana has Eleven Percent Increase in Homes Sold for November

Indiana_Hoosier_Sign.jpgThe Southeastern Indiana region had an 11.1% increase in home sales in November 2016 as compared to November 2015. Here are the statistics:

November 2016 vs November 2015

  • 11.1% Increase in home sales (80 homes vs 72 homes)
  • 10.1% Increase in average home sale price ($157,218 vs $142,747)
  • 6.0% Increase in median sale price ($134,000 vs $126,429)
  • 22.4% Increase in sales volume

January – November 2016 vs January – November 2015

  • -2.0% Decrease in home sales (1,058 homes vs 1,080 homes)
  • 5.3% Increase in average home sale price ($153,797 vs $145,165)
  • 6.8% Increase in median sale price ($138,847 vs $130,000)
  • 2.8% Increase in sales volume

July 2016 vs July 2015

  • 5.6% Increase in sales volume
  • -1.8% Decrease in sales units (112 homes sold vs 114 homes sold)
  • 7.5% Increase in average sale price ($158,326 vs $147,290)
  • 9.0% Increase in median sale price ($143,000 vs $141,250)

January – July 2016 vs January – July 2015

  • 7.0% Increase in sales volume
  • 1.4% Increase in sales units (674 homes sold vs 664 homes sold)
  • 5.6% Increase in average sale price ($150,019 vs $142,040)
  • 8.0% Increase in median sale price ($138,503 vs $128,250)
