Cincinnati Zoo is on the National Travel List

The Cincinnati Zoo
was ranked number 8 of the top 10 national animal attractions by FamilyFun magazines’ annual Travel Awards. These awards were selected by 2,000 U.S. families.

What animal attraction made the top of the list? Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium.

The zoo was founded in 1875 and is the second oldest zoo in the United States. Originally it had 8 monkeys, 2 bears, 3 deer, 6 raccoons, 2 elk, 1 buffalo, 1 hyena, 1 tiger, 1 alligator, 1 elephant and 400 birds.
