October Home Sales Holding Steady in Dayton!

The Dayton region saw a slight decrease in October with home sales down by 1.05%. While October was flat, year-to-date statistics show definite upticks in sales and home prices. Here are the statistics:

October 2015 vs October 2014

  • -1.05% Decrease in home sale units (1,225 homes vs 1,238 homes)
  • -1.20% Decrease in sales volume
  • .48% Increase in average sale price ($135,533 vs $134,892)
  • .96% Increase in median sale price ($116,000 vs $114,900)

January – October 2015 vs January – October 2014

  • 11.70% Increase in home sale units (12,520 homes vs 11,209 homes)
  • 16.94% Increase in sales volume
  • 5.36% Increase in average sale price ($141,040 vs $133,864)
  • 4.35% Increase in median sale price ($120,000 vs $115,000)
