Dayton Home Sales are Up in December and for 2016!

DaytonHomeSales.jpgHome sales were quite strong in December in Dayton, Ohio. Sales were up 8.60% for the month and rose 9.95% for the year. (Sales volume, median sale price and average sale price also rose for the month and year.)

December 2016 vs December 2015

  • 8.60% Increase in units sold (943 vs 885)
  • 12.56% Increase in sales volume ($162,268,929 vs $144,156,741)
  • 10.10% Increase in median sale price ($119,900 vs $108,900)
  • 2.79% Increase in average sale price ($138,101 vs $135,349)

December 2016 vs December 2015

  • 9.96% Increase in units sold (16,079 vs 14,623)
  • 15.87% Increase in sales volume ($2,360,177,839 vs $2,036,966,397)
  • 5.0% Increase in median sale price ($125,900 vs $119,900)
  • 4.68% Increase in average sale price ($146,786 vs $140,229)

The inventory of homes for sale remains low. Home values are rising. Mortgage interest rates still remain low. Perhaps now is the time to sell your home. Look at homes for sale.
