See More Food Trucks in Over-the-Rhine and Other City Locations

NewOrleansTruck

The Mobile Food Vending Program has expanded its food truck zones (from Fifth/Race; Court Street and Sawyer Point) to now include:

  • Fountain Square
  • University of Cincinnati
  • Washington Park/Over-the-Rhine  – Three trucks will soon be able to serve food for breakfast and lunch at Washington Park and two trucks will be able to serve in the evening at 12th Street/Clay. Washington Park will soon have bistro tables and chairs near the Food Truck area.

What is New with the Taste of Cincinnati Event – May 25-27, 2013

Taste

The Taste of Cincinnati, a huge Memorial Day weekend tradition since 1979, will be held this year from May 25-27, 2013 in downtown Cincinnati. There are three new experiences to enjoy this year when attending this major foodie event:

Dining Area Seating

  • Tasters will enjoy a more intimate dining area with seating
  • Area chefs (from 20 Brix, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Daveed’s, Orchid’s, The Palace, Tano’s and Graeter’s) will be at this site for three-hour time periods each day
  • Enjoy free food samples and cooking demos

Beer Garden
A Christian Moerlein Beer Garden will be erected on Fountain Square. Taste some samples and learn about crafting beer.

Food Truck Alley
Along North Broadway (off Fifth Street) some popular area food trucks will have their food samples
