Four Cincinnati Brands Are Most Valuable Per Forbes

rated the world’s most valuable brands and several Cincinnati-based businesses made it to their list for 2014:

  • General Electric was #7 on the list with a brand value of $37.1 billion. GE is based in Evendale with plans for an operations center coming to the Banks.
  • Toyota (with engineering and manufacturing in Erlanger for the next three years) ranked #9 with a brand value of $31.3 billion.
  • Procter & Gamble‘s Gillette was ranked #27 with a revenue of $19.1 billion. That is a lot of disposable razors.
  • Pamper’s (another Procter & Gamble brand) ranked #40 with a revenue of $10.3 billion. P&G is located in downtown Cincinnati.

Although real estate did not make the list, we all know what local brand is tops in our region – Sibcy Cline!

  • Gillette (#18)
  • Pampers (#30)
  • Duracell (#84)

General Electric (#6)

GE Global Service Center is Coming to the Banks!

The General Electric Global Service Center is coming to The Banks in downtown Cincinnati. The new office building will be located near the Freedom Center. The center is expected to bring 1,400 new jobs to Cincinnati for information technology and finance services.
