January – July 2016 vs January – July 2015

  • 8.54% Increase in home sales (9,046 homes vs 8,334 homes)
  • 13.02% Increase in sales volume
  • 5.57% Increase in median sale price ($126,000 vs $120,000)
  • 4.12% Increase in average sale price ($146,973 vs $141,153)

July 2016 vs July 2015

  • -3.36% Decrease in home sales (1,495 homes vs 1,547 homes)
  • 2.11% Increase in sales volume
  • 1.62% Increase in median sale price ($132,000 vs $129,900)
  • 5.67% Increase in average sale price ($156,968 vs $148,552)

Dayton real estate agents sold 1,679 homes sold in June with an average sale price of $161,380. Here are the statistics:

June 2016 vs June 2015

  • 6.54% Increase in homes sold (1,679 homes vs  1,576 homes)
  • 12.39% Increase in sales volume
  • 8.34% Increase in median sales price ($137,000 vs $126,450)
  • 5.49% Increase in average sales price ($161,380 vs $152,975)

January – June 2016 vs January – June 2015

  • 11.02% Increase in homes sold (7,486 homes vs  6,743 homes)
  • 15.48% Increase in sales volume
  • 5.49% Increase in median sales price ($125,000 vs $118,500)
  • 4.02% Increase in average sales price ($145,045 vs $139,440)
