
For January 2021, local home sales increased throughout the region. In Cincinnati, the median sales price increased (over the prior year) for the 21st consecutive month. The median days on market was just four days which is a 73% decrease from January 2020. Also in Cincinnati, 1,541 homes sold in January – a record for any January. In Northern Kentucky, home sales for January rose by 4% and sales prices increased by 15%. In the Dayton region, home sales units increased from last January by 10%. Sales volume increased by 25%.
Mortgage rates are low. Home values are high. It’s a great time to list your home for sale and for buyers to find their dream home.

- -47.7% Decrease in active homes for sale (1,628 units)
- -11% Decrease in new listings (1,881)

DAYTON AND SPRINGFIELD OHIO

- 9.91% Increase in homes sold (1,020 units)
- 13.7% Increase in average sale price ($194,116)
- 13.84% Increase in median sale price ($162,500)
- 25.03% Increase in gross sales volume ($196,000,000)
- 16.87% Increase in new listing units (1,133)
