Southeastern Indiana Has 12 Percent Increase in Home Sales Year-To-Date

Southeastern Indiana home sales from January through September 2013 had a 12.2% increase.

Year-To-Date Statistics (January – June 2013 as compared to 2012)

  • 12.2% increase in unit sales volume
  • 11.9% increase in gross sales volume
  • 5.5% increase in median selling price

September Statistics (as compared to September 2012)

  • 1.3% decrease in unit sales volume
  • Less than 1% decrease in gross sales volume
  • 1.2% increase in average sale price ($141,188 versus $139,450)

Sibcy Cline Realtors Southeast Indiana Sales – Year-To-Date Statistics 

  • 91.7% increase in unit sales volume
  • $181,614 average sale price
  • $174,450 median sale price
  • Sibcy Cline Realtors has a higher median sale price over the entire SEIBR board through the first nine months of 2013: $174,450 versus $125,000
  • Sibcy Cline’s listings are also selling in shorter average time than the SEIBR board (146 days versus 150 days)

Southeast Indiana Sibcy Cline Sales Volume Increased 144 Percent

Rick McMillan, Vice President/Sales Manager of the Sibcy Cline Harrison office has reported the office’s January – May 2013 sales with a 144% increase in sales volume as compared to the same time period in 2012.

  • Sales units increased 100%
  • Median sale price increased 13.8% to $169,000

The Southeastern Indiana Board of Realtors MLS Home Sold Report for May 2013 showed overall sales for the region to be about the same as May 2012:

  • $132,813 Average sale price (versus $138,709 in May 2012) – 4% reduction
  • $127,200 Median sale price (versus $125,000 in May 2012) – 1.76% increase

Home Prices and Homes Sales on the Rise in Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, Southeastern Indiana and Dayton, Ohio

April 2013 saw home prices and home sales rise throughout Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio; Northern Kentucky; and Southeastern Indiana. The statistics show a continuing trend of the stabilization of the real estate market for our region.

Cincinnati April Statistics

  • $121,000 Media sale price – 6.6% increase from April 2012
  • 1,919 Home sold – 24.1% increase from April 2012
  • 10,148 Number of homes for sale on the market  – 15.3% decrease from April 2012

Northern Kentucky Statistics

  • $131,500 Average sale price – 4% increase from April 2012
  • 469 Homes sold – 17.25% increase from April 2012
  • 5.9% decrease in the number of homes for sale on the market as compared to April 2012

Dayton Statistics

  • $124,000 Average sale price – .9% increase from April 2012
  • 14.5% Increase in homes sales as compared to April 2012
  • Dayton, Ohio has posted 22 month of continuous sales gains – This is the longest time period of uninterrupted growth in 16 years

Southeast Indiana Statistics

  • $101,000 Median sale price – 15% decrease from April 2012
  • 85 Homes sold – 16.4% increase from April 2012

Sibcy Cline Realtors Makes the List for the Nation’s Largest Real Estate Firms

According to a recent research report produced by REAL Trends, the 500 largest residential real estate brokerage firms in the national controlled over 2 million residential sales transactions in 2012. The transactions represent close to 29.8 percent of all new and resale transactions completed by brokers during the year, yet the REAL Trends 500 represented less than three-fifths of one percent of all brokerage firms. The 500 mega-brokers closed 2,290,269 home transactions with a value of over $264 billion during 2012.

Southeastern Indiana Home Sales Report – 30% Increase in Sales for First Quarter

The Southeastern Indiana region is seeing increasing home sales. Here are the April 2013 statistics for this region:

  • 16.4% increase in total unit volume (as compared to April 2012)
  • 85 homes sold versus 73 in April 2012
  • 24% increase in Total Gross Sales volume from April 2012
  • $9,575,000 in sales volume versus $8,648,000 million in April 2012

Both unit and dollar volume numbers are up dramatically for the first four months of 2013 from the same period in 2012:

  • 314 Units sold in 2013 versus 242 in 2012 – a 30% increase  
  • $35.835,000 sales volume in 2013 versus $28,479,000 n 2012 – a 25.8% increase

Sibcy Cline’s Appointment Center and Home Services Broke Records in April

Sibcy Cline’s business is rebounding with agents busy working with buyers and sellers. And the swift sales seen in the real estate market for Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio; Northern Kentucky; and Southeastern Indiana can also be seen with the company’s support services.

In April 2013, Sibcy Cline’s Appointment Center – a service that schedules all of the company’s showing appointments – had a record month with over 14,000 appointments set.

Sibcy Cline’s Home Services division also set a record in April. This support service coordinates a variety of home-related services for buyers, sellers as well as friends and family of Sibcy Cline’s agent and employees. On April 29, 2013, the department set a record with the number of services provided for that day:

  • 83 New clients were signed up for Home Services
  • 173 Vendor leads were placed
  • 30 Home inspections were set
