U.S. metro areas were recently graded for home affordability by NerdWallet.com and Dayton, Ohio ranked as the third most affordable area.
Factors for the rankings included: family income, average mortgages and property taxes.
What city is the most affordable? Indianapolis followed by Memphis. Least affordable included New York, Los Angeles and Chicago. Cincinnati ranked number 7 on the list.

NerdWallet.com released its list of the Best Small Cities for Families and Beavercreek was included in the top 50 ranking. The other Ohio city to make this list was Dublin.
Over 1,000 small cities were studied using metrics such as income and affordability, growth and “family friendliness” (number of children) in the area. Only incorporated cities were analyzed.
