Northern Kentucky home sales for September 2014 were on par with 2013, showing just a slight dip. 2013 was the best year of the housing recovery in the last six years.

Southeastern Indiana had a 12% increase in sales units in September. Here are the statistics for the region:

  • 12.3% Increase in sales units (82 homes vs 73 homes)
  • 2.6% Increase in average sale price ($141,875 vs $138,293)
  • 15% Increase in gross sales volume
  • -4.7% Decrease in median sale price ($123,900 vs $130,000)

January – September 2014 vs January – September 2013

  • 1.7% Increase in sales units (784 homes vs 771 homes)
  • Average sale price ($137,863)
  • 9.5% Increase in gross sales volume
  • 1.8% Decrease in median sale price ($127,200 vs $125,000)

Sibcy Cline Sales: January – September 2014 

  • Average sale price: $200,470 (+$60,923 of the board average)
  • Median sale price : $171,000

Sibcy Cline’s sales units in Southeastern Indiana have more than doubled from September 2013. The dollar sales volume closed in September was four times the 2013 sales volume. Sibcy Cline’s sales are averaging 103 days on the market – well below the board’s average of 152 days.
