The average price of homes continues to increase.

  • -.19% Decrease in homes sold (2,119 homes vs 2,123 homes)
  • 8.62% Increase in average sale price ($225,996 vs $208,060)
  • 6.92% Increase in median sale price ($183,900 vs $172,000)
  • 8.42% Increase in gross sales volume ($4,456,153,828 vs $4,281,338,068)

January–September 2019 vs January–September 2018

  • -1.17% Decrease in homes sold (19,684 homes vs 19,918 homes)
  • 5.32% Increase in average sale price ($226,385 vs $214,948)
  • 5.77% Increase in median sale price ($185,000 vs $174,900)
  • 4.08% Increase in gross sales volume ($4,456,153,828 vs $4,281,338,068)

Dayton

In September, the Dayton area saw gains in thenumber of homes sold along with average and median sale prices.

  • 7.55% Increase in homes sold (1,787 homes vs 1,665 homes)
  • 8.11% Increase in average sale price ($181,317 vs $167,717)
  • 11.72% Increase in median sale price ($162,000 vs $145,000)
  • 16.27% Increase in sales volume ($258,376,767 vs $222,225,022)

  • .53% Increase in homes sold (16,344 homes vs 16,728 homes)
  • 6.50% Increase in average sale price ($176,939 vs $166,133)

Average home price increased by almost six percent in September.
