Sibcy Cline Eastgate was Cooking and Running at the Shake It Bake It Grill It Event in Georgetown, Ohio

The town of Georgetown has our heart! This community reached out to support one of their own – former resident Brian Grant – with a Shake It Bake It Grill It festival.

Sibcy Cline Eastgate was one of the sponsors for this event and donated 500 water bottles to be sold to raise money and handed out Sibcy Cline fans to cool people off on this very hot day. Sibcy Cline Eastgate also took first place for their grilled beef entry in the Grill It Contest. Note: Sibcy Cline Eastgate can cook!

Native to Georgetown, Ohio, super-talented Brian Grant played basketball at Georgetown High School and Xavier University. Following college, he was drafted into the NBA and spent 12 years playing for the Sacramento Kings, Portland Trails Blazers, Miami Heat, Los Angeles Lakers and Phoenix Suns.

In 2008, Brian was diagnosed with young onset Parkinson’s disease at the age of 36. He decided to refocus his already-established Brian Grant Foundation to empower people to live fulfilling lives with this disease.

Sibcy Cline agent and Georgetown resident, Rachel Spires was very involved with organizing this community event. Lindsey Hamilton and Kellie Barter participated in the run.
