Average Sale Price for Homes in Southeastern Indiana Increases 10 Percent in April

Indiana USA State Welcome to Highway Road SignThe average sale price of homes rose by 9.7% in April in Southeastern Indiana. Here are the statistics:

April 2016 vs April 2015

  • 9.7% Increase in average sale price ($154,469 vs $140,850)
  • -2.8% Decrease in units sales (106 homes vs 109 homes)
  • .9% Increase in median sale price ($138,001 vs $136,775)
  • 6.7% Increase in sales volume

January – April 2016 vs January – April 2015

  • 7.8% Increase in average sale price ($141,778 vs $131,507)
  • 0% Increase in units sales (304 homes vs 304 homes)
  • 7.1% Increase in median sale price ($132,500 vs $123,700)
  • 7.8% Increase in sales volume

Sibcy Cline’s agents had an average sale price of $189,501 and a median sale price of $161,751 in April. Homes sold on average in just 59 days in April (versus 84 days for all Southeastern Indiana April home sales.)

Southeastern Indiana Homes Sales Volume Improves 13% for First Six Months of 2013

Southeastern Indiana is seeing upward improvement in home sales for the first six months of 2013:

  • 2013 Sales Volume: $61,166,000 (as compared to $54,064,000 in 2012) – 13% increase
  • 2013 Sales Units: 503 (as compared to 427 in 2012) – 17.8% increase
  • 2013 Average Sale Price: $121,604
  • 2013 Median Sale Price: $116,000

Southeastern Indiana June 2013 statistics:

  • Less than 1% increase in Sales Volume – $13,439,000 (as compared to $13,378,000 in 2012)
  • 2.0% increase in Sales Units – 99 homes sold (as compared to 97 in 2012)
  • 1.6% decrease in Average Sale Price – $135,751 (as compared to $137,922 in 2012)
  • 6.76% increase in Median Sale Price – $128,000 (as compared to $119,900)

The Sibcy Cline Harrison office saw its June unit volume in Southeastern Indiana increase by 133% (as compared to the same time period in 2012.) More Sibcy Cline Southeastern Indiana statistics include:
