Six Dayton, Ohio Area Hospitals are Recognized by U.S. News and World Report

The Best Hospitals Guide published by U.S. News and World Report ranks the best medical institutions yearly and six Dayton, Ohio area hospitals made the list:

Miami Valley Hospital – Ten specialties were ranked as high performing: cancer, cardiology, heart surgery, diabetes, endocrinology, gastroenterology, GI surgery, geriatrics, gynecology, nephrology, neurology/neurosurgery, orthopedics and urology. The pulmonology department ranked #38 in the nation.

Grandview Medical Center – Tied for 13th place with nine high-performing specialties.

Good Samaritan Hospital – Tied for 19th place with seven high-performing specialities.

Kettering Medical Center and West Chester Hospital – tied for 26th place with two high-performing specialties.

Atrium Medical Center – Ranked #30 in the nation.

Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center Ranks Number Three Nationally

U.S. News & World Report has released its Best Children’s U.S. Hospitals rankings and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center ranked number three in the nation for the third year in a row.

The report also ranked Cincinnati Children’s Hospital as number one for cancer as well as in the top 10 for all of the subspecialty categories.
