Have you heard about planting a St. Joseph statue when your home is for sale?

Joseph (husband to Mary) is the patron saint of home and family. Some believe that by planting his statue, this saint helps to sell the home.

The kit for this prayer ritual comes with a statue and the prayer card. The statue is buried upside down facing the home. After the home sells, the seller digs up the statue and places it in an honorable place in the new home.

History of this ritual:
This custom dates back to the 1500s when nuns wanted to build a new convent and did not have enough money. They prayed to St. Joseph and buried medals with his image on them in the desired property location and it worked.
